Up-date #5 - (April 4, 2024)

Paschaltide in Carmel

    Since our last up-date in early March the renovation work has continued behind the scenes for the most part.  Electricians worked for several days in the middle of March to reconfigure the wiring for the ceiling lights in the Choir .  This work required some demolition to remove the old light fixtures and install new wiring.  They also installed some new outlets.  Then during the Easter Octave, Kyle Marianacci and crew came to prepare the ceiling for the track lights .
    The work on the Choir paneling is also progressing.  On Wednesday of the Easter Octave, Mark Millerd from Millco Woodworking examined the arch and traced a wooden template for the arch frame .
    Though we certainly missed having the Sacred Triduum with so many of our dear friends, all have been lovingly remembered in our prayers.  We are happy to share some photos of the days of the Triduum and Easter here in our little Choir - Mass Chapel .
